DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Utilities announced in a social media post Friday that a vehicle crash on Piney Forest Road has caused a large outage for approximately 1,000 customers in the northern area of the city. Officials say that crews are arriving to evaluate the damaged pole and determine how long repairs will take. 10 News will continue to update this story with information as it becomes available.
