Botetourt County approves new ADs for James River, Lord Botetourt

Tim Fulton spent 2021 as an educator and assistant football coach at Franklin County High School (WSLS)

FINCASTLE, Va. – In a recent meeting, the Botetourt County School Board made recent personnel approvals which landed new athletic directors at both James River and Lord Botetourt High Schools.

Aaron “Chase” Davidson will now lead the James River athletics program. Davidson is a Radford and Liberty University graduate and most recently served as AD at Bath County High School. Davidson takes over for former William Fleming and Radford University track standout, Vincent Wyatt, who announced his intentions to leave the school earlier this year.

Tim Fulton has spent over three decades in coaching and will now lead Lord Botetourt’s athletic department. Fulton has worked in Craig County, Roanoke County and spent last season in Franklin County where he was on the football staff under J.R. Edwards. Fulton spent 16 years as the head football coach at Cave Spring High School prior to heading to Franklin County.
