Schleusner's double-double leads W&L women past Roanoke 77-50
SALEM, Va. – In women’s ODAC action Saturday, the defending two-time conference champion No. 20 Washington & Lee defeated Roanoke College 77-50.
While the game was a back-and-forth affair in the opening quarter, the Generals began to separate themselves before halftime. Timely offense and active defense proved to be too much for the Maroons to handle. Mary Schleusner wreaked havoc with her double-double performance, 31 points and 31 rebounds.
Page Breuer led the Maroons with 11 points.
