A top administrator with Washington’s health insurance exchange apologized to House members on Wednesday for the data breach that resulted in the disclosure of personal information for thousands of users, including members of Congress.

The Jan. 6 committee has plunged deeper into Donald Trump’s last-ditch effort to overturn the 2020 election.

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection released video on Wednesday of a Capitol tour led by a Republican lawmaker the day before the attack, showing at least one participant taking photos of stairwells and tunnels in the Capitol complex.

Police have determined a House Republican who led a tour of the U.S. Capitol the day before the Jan. 6 attack was simply showing his constituents around and not suspicious.

In a story published May 19, 2022, The Associated Press reported that a House committee had questioned Rep. Barry Loudermilk of Georgia about a tour of the Capitol complex before the Jan. 6 insurrection.
