A Giles County man has been arrested recently on charges of attempting to possess with intent to distribute dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and distributing lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), powerful psychedelic drugs, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia.

A man was arrested on Thursday after investigators suspected he was producing DMT, Giles County Sheriff’s Office said.
