In Pulaski County, families now have a renewed opportunity for their kids to spend productive time together throughout the summer. Two years after a fire forced the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark to close in Pulaski, it is now officially reopened.

Pulaski County held a ribbon-cutting for the relaunch of the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark on Wednesday.

Randolph Park’s pool in Pulaski County is closed again for the second summer in a row, but Parks and Recreation leaders said they are getting closer to reopening the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark.

The Pulaski parks and rec department is looking to the future after a fire destroyed the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark pool house.

The Evelyn-Alexander Waterpark at Randolph Park is closed until further notice, as Pulaski works to pick up the pieces of a devastating fire.

Crews are currently responding to what is being called a devastating fire at the Randolph Park pool, according to Asst. County Administrator Anthony Akers.
