The Fork in the Market in downtown Roanoke could soon be firing up the grills and cranking up the music again as it hopes to reopen this week.

Fork in the Market has provided an update Monday after a fire at the business in Roanoke June.

Nearly two weeks after a fire damaged Fork in the Market on June 21, the Roanoke community is still showing up in a big way.

Cleanup is underway at the City Market building in downtown Roanoke after Friday’s fire. The fire chief says the fire started in the ventilation system above Fork in the Market.
