A Virginia judge has ordered a mental health evaluation for the man charged in the fatal shooting of two campus officers.

A joint funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday for two fallen heroes who were shot and killed during an active shooting incident at Bridgewater College.

The escort included more than 50 cars from more than a dozen departments.

The two Bridgewater College officers who were killed earlier this week will be escorted from Roanoke back up to Bridgewater on Thursday afternoon.

The man accused of shooting and killing two Bridgewater College campus officers has been arraigned on five felony charges.
