A 'Black Parade' Grammys: Beyoncé leads with 9 nominations

A winner of 24 Grammys, Beyoncé becomes the second-most nominated act in the history of the awards show with 79 nominations. Beyoncé is only behind her husband Jay-Z and Quincy Jones, who have both earned 80 nominations each. Jay-Z picked up three nominations this year for his contributions to Beyoncé’s songs: He co-wrote “Black Parade” and “Savage,” thus earning nominations for song of the year, best R&B song and best rap song. Instead, multiple nominations went to Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Roddy Ricch, who each earned six nominations and followed Beyoncé as the second-most nominated acts.

Taylor Swift 'folklore' concert film coming to Disney+

NEW YORK – A concert film featuring Taylor Swift performing songs from her new album is coming to Disney+. The singer announced Tuesday that “folklore: the long pond studio sessions” will premiere on the streaming platform on Wednesday. The concert film will include guest appearances from Jack Antonoff, Aaron Dessner and Bon Iver — acts who all appear on Swift's “folklore" album. Swift filmed “folklore: the long pond studio sessions” in upstate New York in September. The singer also directed the concert film.

Country artist Cam grapples with hard truths on 'Otherside'

But two years ago, Cam decided to walk away from Sony Nashville’s imprint Arista citing different values, but remaining under Sony on the RCA Record label based in New York. The title track, a meticulously crafted country dance track, was co-written with acclaimed Swedish dance artist Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling. She knew what she was getting into when she heard Smith’s easily recognizable voice on the demo for “Happier For You,” a melancholic country song that fit well with Cam's aesthetic of moody and introspective country tunes.

Dixie Chicks announce first new album in 13 years

Getty Images(CNN) - The Dixie Chicks are ready to give their fans what they've been waiting for -- some new music! The short video featured Maines saying, "Dixie Chicks!" It's been 13 years since the country group released an album, "Taking the Long Way," which won a Grammy for album of the year. The Dixie Chicks first came on to the scene in the early '90s in Dallas and achieved commercial success in 1998 with their hit songs "There's Your Trouble" and "Wide Open Spaces." "The Dixie Chicks were making such interesting music and doing it in such an unapologetically feminine, imaginative way," Swift told the magazine.
