WYTHE COUNTY, Va. – Authorities arrested a Wythe County man following a chase early Monday in which he hit two troopers' vehicles and nearly hit a trooper with his car. The 37-year-old woman who was in the car with Brown was taken into custody at this point without incident, according to state police. It included the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office, a Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office K9 Team, and the Virginia State Police Aviation, Tactical Team and K9 Team. Authorities apprehended Brown at around 8:15 a.m. in a nearby field without further incident, according to state police. At the time of his testimony, Brown said he was managing four Airbnb's in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Dallas. Merritt said Brown lived in constant fear of gun violence and that's why he was emotional on the witness stand during the trial. "Brown lived in constant fear that he could be the next victim of gun violence, either state sanctioned or otherwise," he wrote. Soon after, from his apartment balcony, Brown said he saw Guyger come out to the hallway from Jean's apartment on the phone.
