Janet Yang has been re-elected to serve as president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organization said Tuesday.

Producer Janet Yang has been elected the 36th president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

They both carved out sterling reputations as military and political leaders over years of public service.
