Survive and advance is the name of the game at this point in the season, and after beating Kentucky twice in the same day for the Super Regional berth, they now will face another SEC foe at Tech Softball Park, #13 Florida.

Senior Keely Rochard turned in a stellar performance on Friday in the first game of the Blacksburg Regional, throwing a no-hitter and striking out 17 to lead No. 3 Virginia Tech over Saint Francis (Pa.) 4-0.

The No. 2 Virginia Tech Hokies fell 4-1 to the No. 15 Clemson Tigers in the semifinals of the ACC Championship on Friday afternoon in Pittsburgh. Virginia Tech was the top ACC seed in the tournament. Clemson was seeded 5th.

The Hokies lost their 5th straight game, while Liberty extended its win streak to 13.
