United Way of Southwest Virginia has raised millions of dollars to help communities throughout the Commonwealth continue to recover from Hurricane Helene.

United Way of Southwest Virginia has announced the return of its annual ‘Stuff the Bus’ fundraiser, aimed to provide essential school supplies to students across Southwest Virginia.

More than 40 homes were destroyed after devastating flooding in Hurley, Virginia several weeks ago. In an effort to support flood victims in the area, Food City presented a check on Thursday totaling more than $106,000.
