All around Daleville Town Center on Monday afternoon, you can see some snow on the parking lots, on the trees and on the tops of buildings.

VDOT spent Monday cutting down trees that had fallen over the weekend because of storms.

V-DOT said on US-29 in Campbell County near Rt. 683 (Lawyers Rd.) all northbound and southbound lanes are closed at this time due to a vehicle crash. Please avoid the area.

LYNCHBURG, Va. – VDOT continues to clean up days after last week’s storm that causes flooding. As of Wednesday morning, 12 roads were still closed in the Lynchburg district, which includes parts of Central Virginia and Southside. Four of those roads were washed out, including Route 663 and Bethany Road in Campbell County and Route 658 in Pittsylvania County. “Just because it’s not covering the road doesn’t mean it’s not still wet and there’s water there. Officials say other roadways have turned into long-term projects, like Liberty Road in Halifax County, where flooding damaged a pipe and destroyed the side of the road.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – According to V-DOT, all southbound lanes on I-81 in Roanoke County near exit 130 are closed due to a vehicle accident. No word on when the lanes will open back up.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – Both northbound lanes of Route 220 are closed due to a crash near Naff Road, according to V-DOT. 10 News has spoken with Franklin County dispatch, who say state police are leading the investigation. V-DOT is saying to expect delays if you’re driving that direction. So far, there’s no word on injuries. This is a developing story, and we’ll update you as soon as we hear more from state troopers.
