Those heading north on Interstate 81 may want to avoid a section in Botetourt County.
At mile marker 162, near the Buchanan exit, a tractor-trailer crash is causing a 4.5-mile backup.
As of 12:27 p.m., both the left lane and left shoulder are closed.
