Roanoke, VA – Sunday Evening Update
This evening we will continue to see mostly dry conditions, but that will not last for long as we head into a workweek with a very active pattern. Showers and thunderstorms will return to the area tomorrow, with warmer temperatures and higher dewpoints making a return as well.
Monday morning and early afternoon will be dry, before showers and storms fire off around evening drive time. The storm coverage will be very isolated, so not everyone will get wet tomorrow.
The latter half of the workweek will change that, with more widespread shower and storm coverage expected in the late week.
After some beneficial rainfall yesterday, we’re in for some more isolated showers this week.
Rain will be very spotty today and tomorrow, before clearing up most of Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain chances return later in the week as we start seeing more moisture enter the region.
Temperatures remain mild in the 70s throughout the week.
