ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Rockbridge SPCA received quite the surprise Monday afternoon.
Dominion Virginia Power gave the organization a newer van to transport animals.

Rockbridge SPCA Executive Director Tara Rodi said the new van will help them transport more animals and will be more reliable.
Dominon Power said it gives some of its vans which are no longer used, but in good condition to organizations that may need it.
"This is great for us because now we have a reliable van we can take our animals to the vet's office, adoption events and anything else we have going on," said Rodi.
She said they may still keep the old van as a back up.
