Ice cream bars recalled nationwide due to possible listeria contamination

An ice cream manufacturer has voluntarily recalled two of its products nationwide. 

Fieldbrook Foods says its orange cream and chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream bars may have listeria contamination.

The affected products were made at the company's Dunkirk, New York plant in 2017. 

It's a widespread recall with products sold at a number of retailers, under a number of names.

The recalled orange cream bars, chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream bars and variety packs that include chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream bars were sold at the following merchants under the indicated brands:

"Best buy" dates on the ice cream packages are Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2018.

The FDA says no illnesses have been reported. 

Consumers who bought these ice cream bars can return them for a full refund.
