Volunteers needed for the 7th annual Fork and Cork Festival

BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The Blacksburg Partnership is looking for volunteer for this year's Fork and Cork wine, food and art festival. 

The 7th annual Blacksburg Fork and Cork festival will be held at a new venue, 1600 Innovation Drive, which is located in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, on Saturday, May 2 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Over 150 volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks before and during the festival. Positions include festival support, ticket sales, VIP sponsor hosts and parking attendants. They also seek people able to give cooking demonstrations. Organizations wishing to volunteer as a group are welcome as well.

Volunteers will receive a Blacksburg Fork and Cork Volunteer T-shirt, souvenir wine glass, and full access to the festival before or after their shift, including wine tasting. To register to volunteer or for more details, please visit our website at www.blacksburgforkandcork.com/volunteer.
