ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Dozens of classic cars are cruising into the Star City for the Freedom Road Rally.

Rally organizer Scott Dorsey said the rally is aimed to get car enthusiasts to come out and fellowship with others who share their passion.

They stopped at the Virginia Museum of Transportation as part of a week-long antique car tour.

"All museums are keepers of our history. Without them we would lose so much of our history." Dorsey said. "So I if can bring people there and show them what they've got, it in some way helps them to get more people to show up and keeps things alive and moving."

The Freedom Road Rally will travel to Danville on Wednesday.
