Medical examiner: Man killed in Roanoke River crash died of hypothermia

ROANOKE, Va. – The Roanoke man who was found dead in an SUV that crashed in the Roanoke River died of hypothermia, according to the medical examiner's office. 

Mark Crotts was 24. His SUV was discovered underwater on Saturday at Vic Thomas Park, which is near Black Dog Salvage.

Crotts died at the scene. His death is being called accidental. 

Police say there is no evidence of foul play.
