1 hospitalized after fire at Roanoke house

ROANOKE – One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after a house fire in the 4000 block of Virginia Avenue, according to the Roanoke FireEMS Department.
The fire originated and was contained in the kitchen, and marked under control within six minutes, according to authorities.
The residents will not be displaced, authorities said.
