VINTON, Va. – Students at William Byrd Middle School and William Byrd High School will not have classes on Friday because of a power outage across both schools.
Roanoke County Public School officials say Appalachian Power does not anticipate restoring power to the schools until noon on Friday or later.
These are the only two Roanoke County schools to be affected.
