On Monday, February 7, all Texas Roadhouse locations—including the Roanoke and Christiansburg locations—will be donating 100% of its proceeds to the American Tinnitus Association (ATA).

This fundraiser is being done to honor Kent Taylor, the company’s late founder who had tinnitus, a condition that affects more than 26 million Americans. Tinnitus, which is usually the result of age-related hearing loss or an ear injury, is a condition where you experience ringing or other noises in both of your ears.

The goal of the fundraiser is to raise awareness and advance research on the condition.

“Despite its growing prevalence and often devastating effects, tinnitus remains a severely underfunded medical condition. This partnership brings us one step closer to changing the status quo” said Torryn P. Brazell, ATA chief executive officer.

Additionally, through March 31, all Texas Roadhouse locations will donate 10% of their earnings from Texas Roadhouse/ATA co-branded gift cards to ATA, which are available online here.

If you or someone you know needs help with battling Tinnitus, you can contact the ATA at 800-634-8978 or you can visit ata.org.
