Hotel Roanoke honored for 140 years in the Star City

Hotel Roanoke is getting honored in a big way on its 140th anniversary.

ROANOKE, Va. – The Hotel Roanoke is getting honored in a big way.

On Monday, a celebration was held to mark 140 years in the Star City.

The hotel was honored by the General Assembly for its impact on the Commonwealth.

Virginia Sen. John Edwards and Del. Sam Rasoul were part of the honors.

Leaders at the hotel say they look forward to the next 140 years.
