BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Blacksburg Police Department is having issues with its phone service.

Residents are asked to call the New River Valley Emergency Communications Regional Authority at 540-382-4343 instead if they’re unable to get in touch with the department.
Authorities urge community members to only call 911 in the event of an emergency.
The department is working to resolve the issue and 10 News will provide an update once its phone service is restored.
