Drivers heading north on I-81 in Roanoke County can expect delays due to a multi-vehicle crash, according to VDOT.
Authorities say it happened at mile marker 142.5.
As of 1:01 p.m., the north left shoulder and the left lane is closed. Backups are approximately 6.5 miles, VDOT said.
