Man charged in connection with Rocky Mount shooting has charge certified to grand jury

The case will move forward against a man charged in connection with a fatal Rocky Mount shooting in May.

Joshua Coleman was charged with second-degree murder, which has been certified to a grand jury.

We previously reported that police responded to reports of a shooting at the Rocky Mount Bowling Center on May 12 around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities said a man was found lying unresponsive in the front parking lot.

The victim, identified as 25-year-old Keith Anderson of Moneta was found to be deceased.

No new court date has been set for Coleman.
