HALIFAX CO., Va. – Update:
19-year-old Kimari Lacks of Halifax has been arrested for the armed robbery of the convenience store on Sunday, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

He has been charged with:
•Armed Robbery
•Use of a firearm in commission of a felony
•Wearing a mask to conceal identity
•Brandishing a firearm
•Concealed weapon
The Halifax County Sherriff’s Office is currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a man involved in an armed robbery at a gas station.
According to authorities, police responded to an armed robbery that occurred at 9:15 p.m. Thursday night at the Sprint convenience store in Centreville.
When officers arrived on the scene the clerk on duty said a black male came into the store, and presented a small handgun. demanded money from the register and quickly left.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
A $1000 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest and the conviction of the assailant.
