ALLEGHANY CO., Va. – A portion of the Jackson River Scenic Trail between Landis Drive and the Natural Well Trailhead has been closed temporarily due to severe flooding, Alleghany County officials said.
For the safety of trailgoers, county officials are asking the public to avoid the section of the trail until further notice.
