Four Roanoke City schools close due to water main break

Roanoke City Public Schools has announced the closure of four schools due to a water main break.

The following schools will be closed Friday:

• Patrick Henry High School
• Woodrow Wilson Middle School
• The Roanoke Valley Governor’s School
• The Roanoke Technical Education Center

The Western Virginia Water Authority has not yet provided an estimated time of restoration.
