ORIGINAL STORY: A crash on I-81 left a tractor-trailer hanging over an overpass, Virginia State Police say.
Troopers say the crash happened at 5:23 a.m. Sunday in Washington County. The driver was traveling south on the interstate, ran off the road and overturned at Exit 14.
The tractor-trailer was hauling double trailers and one partially went over the side of the overpass.
The road underneath the overpass, Old Jones Road, is closed as crews work to clear the wreck. Hazmat crews are also on the scene to manage the amount of fuel leaked by the tractor trailer.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
