Hidden Valley volleyball advances to state semis

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – VHSL State quarterfinals action began on Saturday across the Commonwealth. In Class 3, Hidden Valley defeated Fort Defiance 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-21) to advance to the state semifinals. Caleigh Ponn led the team with 16 kills, 3 aces and 16 digs. Cam Davenport had 15 kills and 10 digs. Abby Crosser added 8 kills, 1 block while Emily Dudley had 12 assists and Faith Mitchell tallied 19 assists.
