CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – There were rumors that University of Virginia standout guard Kihei Clark may be returning for a fifth season. Monday night, the rumors were put to rest as the Twitter page for the basketball program announced that the Clark would indeed be returning to Charlottesville.

The 5-foot, 10-inches tall guard is coming off a season where he averaged 10 points and a little more than four assists. But his veteran leadership goes far beyond any stat sheet or box score. Clark is the only remaining player on the roster that was part of the Cavaliers’ 2019 National Championship season.

Clark earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors for the 2021-2022 season, when he guided Virginia to an NIT appearance.
