BLACKSBURG, Va. – It’s been a busy offseason for Virginia Tech’s Brent Pry--recruting, transfer portal and staff changes. He’s had to hire a new offensive line coach, defensive coordinator and now it appears he’ll need to hire an offensive coordinator.
Sources tell 10 Sports that Tyler Bowen is leaving Blacksburg to be the offensive line coach at Ohio State University. He’s led the Hokies offense since 2022 in what was a streaky three year stint to say the least. While 2023 was a solid season, their was more to be desired in 2024. The rushing attack was strong but injuries prevented the overall offense from flourishing as many hoped. Virginia Tech Hokies will need to move fast to find a replacement with spring ball starting right around the corner.
