Carhartt announced on Tuesday that the company is donating $50,000 to the Blue Ridge Parkway foundation to “help fund ongoing preservation and education efforts.”

The Giles County Technology Center is one of 15 schools nationwide to receive a $25,000 grant from Carhartt through its “For the Love of Labor” program to support career and technical education programs.

Giles High School has been awarded a $25,000 grant from Carhartt’s For the Love of Labor program to introduce Career and Technical Education through the National Center for Construction Education and Research’s High School Builder Program.

Giles High School is one of the 15 schools nationwide $25 thousand donation from Carhartt’s For the Love of Labor grant.
