The Salem Police Department announced Tuesday that it was investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred in the southern quadrant of the city late afternoon.

The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that a man was injured and in stable condition after a domestic-related shooting in Amherst County on Wednesday evening.
