ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. – UPDATEThis crash has been cleared. ORIGINAL STORYDrivers headed through Rockbridge County on Tuesday night via Interstate 81 North should expect delays. A vehicle fire is causing traffic near mile marker 194. As of 11:54 p.m., traffic is backed up about two miles and the northbound right lane and shoulder are closed, according to VDOT.

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. Drivers headed through Wythe County on Interstate 81 North can expect delays. A tractor-trailer crash has closed all both of traffic in the northbound and southbound lanes. As of 3:25 p.m., traffic was backed up about one mile in the northbound lanes and two miles in the southbound lanes, according to VDOT. Northbound traffic is being diverted off at Exit 54. Southbound traffic is being diverted off at Exit 60.
