Two first-time hosts โ€” Quinta Brunson and Ana de Armas โ€” will make their โ€œSaturday Night Liveโ€ debuts in April. Brunson, creator and star of ABC's โ€œAbbott Elementaryโ€ comedy, will be host of this Saturday's show, NBC announced on Monday. Lil Yachty, whose latest disc debuted at the top of Billboard's rock and alternative charts, is the musical guest.

President Donald Trump pardoned or commuted the sentences of more than 140 people in a last-minute clemency flurry after midnight on Wednesday, a list that included rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. โ€” Rapper Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was given a full pardon. In the pardon, Lil Wayne was praised for his โ€œcommitment to a variety of charities, including donations to research hospitals and a host of foodbanks.โ€ Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders backed the pardon. Lil Wayne is one of the seminal figures in rap in the last two decades, selling more than 20 million albums in the U.S. since releasing his debut in 1999. Supporters included Gucci Mane, Lil Pump, Lil Yachty, and athletes Lamar Jackson and Jack Brewer.

Rapper Lil Yachty arrested for driving 150 mph in Ferrari

ATLANTA โ€“ Georgia State Patrol arrested rapper Lil Yachty this month after he was allegedly caught driving more than 150 mph (241 kph) on an Atlanta highway. Troopers pulled over a white Ferrari with the 23-year-old rapper, whose name is Miles McCollum, behind the wheel on Sept. 21, State Patrol said. McCollum was taken to the Atlanta City Jail and charged with reckless driving and speeding, according to the agency. The recording artist totaled his red Ferrari in the same area in June after spinning out of control. The rapper addressed the recent speeding in a video on the app Tik Tok, saying in part: โ€œYeah.
