Another wave of fans returning to sports despite COVID-19
So, like any good mom, she did her homework, learning more about the policies in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic. New York's Madison Square Garden had roughly 2,000 fans on hand for the Knicks game Tuesday night. Several spring training facilities will open their doors to fans when major league exhibition games start on Sunday. Many places will have no problem filling their limited capacities, but some sports are looking at a longer road when it comes to fans returning. UFC was next at 59% of 40 million devices, followed by the NFL at 53% of 497 million devices.

Chiefs' success big reason why fans will be at Super Bowl
(AP Photo/Reed Hoffmann, File)There will be about 25,000 fans inside Raymond James Stadium for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Even when COVID-19 numbers were spiking around the country, the Chiefs never experienced an outbreak traced back to their fans. AdThursday marked the final time talking to the media for the Bucs and Chiefs until after the Super Bowl. BRADY’S PORTUGUESETom Brady's six Super Bowl rings don't protect him from being trash talked in his own home. The fact that it will happen in the Super Bowl?

Chiefs under pressure to ditch the tomahawk chop celebration
FILE - In this Dec. 13, 2018, photo, Kansas City Chiefs fans chant and do the chop during the second half of the team's NFL football game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Kansas City, Mo. AdA coalition of Native American groups has put up billboards in the Kansas City area to protest the tomahawk chop and Chiefs' name. But Gaylene Crouser, executive director of the Kansas City Indian Center, found the tweak to be laughable. And you can still do this movement that looks like a tomahawk chop, but we are going to call it a drum beat instead. He noted that, though Bartle was white, he started a Scouting society called the “Mic-O-Say Tribe,” which remains active and continues to use Native American attire and language.

Mahomes piles up big numbers at Arrowhead - on Election Day
Patrick Mahomes piled up some very big numbers at Arrowhead Stadium last week. Five days before throwing for four touchdowns and nearly 400 yards in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 33-31 victory over the Carolina Panthers, Mahomes helped turn his home stadium into a giant polling place on Election Day. Chiefs president Mark Donovan and head coach Andy Reid were among the first to vote at Arrowhead on Tuesday. “Don’t be mad at paying customers when the product stinks and they are upset about what they’re watching. Not just one half.”___Follow Arnie Melendrez Stapleton on Twitter: http://twitter.com/arniestapleton___More AP NFL: https://apnews.com/NFL and https://twitter.com/AP_NFL
