The massive fire that destroyed the Noke Van Company’s building and the Chris’s Coffee & Custard food truck has left $4.25 million in damages, according to Roanoke Fire-EMS.

A fire at Southwest Market in Roanoke resulted in significant damage to the building, Roanoke Fire-EMS Department showed on a Facebook post on Saturday.

Crews are currently responding to a fire in Southeast Roanoke.

ROANOKE – One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after a house fire in the 4000 block of Virginia Avenue, according to the Roanoke FireEMS Department. The fire originated and was contained in the kitchen, and marked under control within six minutes, according to authorities. The residents will not be displaced, authorities said.
