Jason Ferguson with Botetourt County Fire-EMS said the head-on collision happened around 12:43 Tuesday afternoon in the 14000 block of Botetourt Road/Route 220 - a narrow, two-lane stretch of road.

The Ford was driven by 27-year-old Kelly Ann Peters of Millboro. She was wearing her seat belt and was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital by Lifeguard 10.
