Temperatures are ticking up, and we’re in store for a warmer weekend

If you have not been a fan of these stupidly cold temperatures, I do not blame you. It’ll be in the 30s on Friday. However, I also have good news for you!

one more day of cold

We’ll be getting into the 40s this weekend and will likely stay there for the foreseeable future. This pattern shift kicks off a warming trend that could result in high temperatures in the 50s, potentially by the middle of next week.

coldest januarys of all time

We could see a stray shower or two Monday as moisture from the south enters the region. This warm pattern will certainly help melt any remaining snow and ice throughout the region.

Warming up!

Mostly quiet conditions take hold for the end of January, although we could see another system come in at the beginning of February, that would bring rain and maybe a few snow showers.

Warmer next week
