Crayon-maker Crayola has announced the early retirement of the crayon color dandelion.
The dark-yellow crayon has been kicked out of the crayon box and will no longer be in Crayola's iconic 24-count pack of crayons.
It will be replaced with a new shade.
Dandelion's retirement was to be announced on Friday to mark National Crayon Day, but came a day early via Crayola's twitter account.
Crayola will reveal the new color to take dandelion's place tomorrow via Facebook Live at 8:45 a.m.
