FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – A Franklin County Public Schools teacher faces three charges of aggravated sexual assault of a minor younger than 13, according to online court records.
Clyde Timothy Smith was indicted this week on the three charges and arrested Wednesday.

Smith is a physical education teacher, is currently on administrative leave until the matter is resolved, according to Superintendent Dr. Mark Church.
Online records show the incidents were reported in January 2015, August 2015 and August 2016.
