ROANOKE, Va. – Come November, it will be Democrat Ralph Northam and Republican Ed Gillespie going head-to-head to become Virginia's next governor.
The Associated Press called the election for Northam over Tom Perriello just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The race ended up being tighter than expected on the Republican side, but Gillespie warded off both Corey Stewart and Frank Wagner.
