Henry County crash leaves 60-year-old woman dead

HENRY CO., Va. – A 60-year-old woman died in a Henry County crash Friday, according to Virginia State Police.

Police said the crash happened at 7:34 p.m. on on Route 641, near Route 220.

We’re told a 2010 Nissan Xterra was traveling north on Route 641 when it ran off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree.

Authorities said the driver, 60-year-old Teresa Milligan of Axton, was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.

According to VSP, the crash is still under investigation.
