LYNCHBURG, Va. – Earlier 10 News told you about an overnight shooting in Lynchburg, A 28-year-old has been arrested and identified after the incident Tuesday.

LPD said that it located a suspect in connection with the incident and he is currently in custody.
The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Joshua Kannan and he has been charged with the following:
- Malicious Wounding
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a crime
- Discharging a firearm within the city limits
