PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA – Pittsylvania County Public Safety announced on its Facebook page that the 911 center is experiencing a power outage.
This has led to a complete loss of radio paging and phone capabilities.

All 911 calls are being rerouted to the City of Danville as a temporary measure.
Fire and rescue personnel are advised to monitor portable radios until power is restored. They should also keep an ear on the Cecom channel to receive any incoming calls.
