37-year-old dies in Pittsylvania County vehicle crash
The crash occurred early Monday morning at about 4:45 a.m.

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal vehicle crash in Pittsylvania County.
Authorities said it occurred early Monday morning at about 4:42 a.m. on Route 844.

Thirty-seven-year-old Kevin Leander Myers, of Dry Fork, was driving in a 2022 Nissan Sentra at a high rate of speed when he crossed the centerline, overcorrected and ran off the right side of the roadway, hitting a tree, according to VSP.
